Our family has enjoyed playing at ATG several times. Last week we played in the "Secret Vault" and I think it was my favorite one! Our host was very friendly and helpful. The escape room had tricky puzzles, yet they all made sense logically. We felt very accomplished after escaping!

Lots of fun, good challenge level as well for teens/adults

We had a blast! We failed to escape, but that didn't matter, it was a fun experience. My 13 year old Autistic son really enjoyed himself. Charlie was awesome and assisted us as needed.

We did "Holding Cell" and "Secret Vault." Great puzzles. Friendly staff. Reasonable Prices. Would recommend.

Absolutely loved the VR escape rooms! There is so much variety in the types of escape rooms you can choose. They are very involved and will have you doing things you wont expect! Had a blast and the staff was very welcoming and helpful. I already want to go back!

This place was so fun! The host was friendly and welcoming. Our game master was great and helpful. We did the Secret Vault room which was just the right amount of challenging and WE ESCAPED! I have done a few different escape rooms and this one was really fun, I recommend it!

This review is a bit over due. I was looking for something engaging and memorable for my daughter's birthday with her friends. They were in fifth, and going to all different middle schools.
I was worried about the set up and not really knowing what to really expect, this was my first time experience with an escape room. Larry had been wonderful in laying out everything that was included in the party, and how the whole process would work. Our host was amazing (I wish I could remember her name because she really does deserve the recognition).
The set up was amazing with a singing machine, photo booth, and games! Not to mention a kitchen space where you can prep food if necessary and a fridge.
The game roo. Itself was amazing as well, I peeked my head in while the kids were getting their rundown, it was awesome!
All the parents, and the kids were impressed and had a great time. Will definitely be back!

Super fun! It was a really great experience (very clever design) and we loved our host!! Were new to escape rooms so didnt know what to expect. I thought there might be tension but our host was terrific and the whole atmosphere was super playful. We didnt even mind losing :)

ATG is a great place for a birthday celebration. My son and his friends did the Holding Cell and had a blast. The staff is super friendly and helpful. They also have a game room with Nintendo games, Karaoke, classic video games like Ms. Pac-Man and jumbo jenga. I highly recommend ATG.

We had a team party (soccer) for a group of boys (16 - 17 year old). This place exceeded my expectations. Everyone was so nice and helpful. In the party room we had games available to us so the boys always had something to do (basketball, connect 4, jenga, video games, etc). They had a kitchen off the party room we had full access to as well. Plenty of parking as well. Very happy with my experience and definitely would recommend/come back for a future visit.

This was a really great experience! Ive been to a few different escape rooms and this one our family was able to beat the room . Staff was very friendly and helpful, puzzles and theme were interesting and engaging. This is a simpler set up compared to other escape rooms, but still had a good time nonetheless! Would definitely recommend to others

Great place to have a birthday party! There is something for everyone. All the kids had a blast and Larry was so accommodating. Escape room was amazing and the kids truly enjoyed finding all the clues! Thanks for making my daughters birthday so magical!

This was our first ever escape room. We enjoyed it a lot, and escaped with 38 seconds to spare. And this was the "easy" one! LOL! We had no idea what we were looking for but after a getting some clues, we got going. The kids really had fun and definitely helped solve it, even my ten year old got one part. We did the Wizard room, and we'll definitely go back to try more. I'd give it 4.5 stars!

This place was super fun! It was our family's first time ever doing an escape room. Our game master was friendly, and everything was clear. My spouse and I plus our 10 year old kiddo completed the level 2/5 difficulty, wizard-themed, escape room (not scary, which we appreciated!) in 48 minutes with only one clue. It was fun and challenging, and we will definitely be back again soon!

It was a company event we had here. I feel that it brought the company a bit closer together. Everybody had to play a part to "solve" and "escape" the rooms. without the teamwork it would be very difficult or not possible at all. I would recommend it to friends or other business owners. Would I go back? Maybe. Was it fun? Kinda. One hour of problem solving is ok once in a while. Staff was friendly and polite.

Kyla was great and we had so much fun. You really can't go wrong with this place. Haven't been to Red Door Escape room in the Veranda but I've heard that this place has more puzzles during the actually escape room vs. aesthetics!

My best friend and I did two escape rooms, which were fun and challenging. The game master gave us insightful clues and was nice to us. They also have cool signs to take pictures with, so I highly recommend this place!

The ATG Escape Room was so fun and not for those looking to sit back and relax. We did the Secret Vault Room, and it was way harder than I thought it was going to be. It takes everyone in the room thinking about every possible and potential clue, which youre not even sure are clues, to work together to try to escape!! The vault has two rooms. So once you make it through the first room, the second room is as equally challenging or maybe even harder. I cant wait to go back and try another room. Definitely fun for a group of friends, a team bonding experience, team building with coworkers or a group of teens just wanting to have some wholesome fun!

My boyfriend and I have done just about every escape room in the Bay Area so we were thrilled to see another open up so close to home. Chuck was very kind and a fun GM to work with and the rooms themselves were inventive. Weve gotten used to many of the gimmicks used in other rooms so to see a few surprises and new challenges was a fun one. We will definitely be going back for more fun :)

I booked this for a team building experience, and am convinced that we could not have picked a better one. The room was VERY challenging, and while we didn't escape, we made it close (missed by seconds). The puzzles exercised the team's ability to communicate, problem solve, and coordinate. The room was well put together. We are very likely going to return for a different challenge in the future.

This place is hella fun! We were split up into what seemed like 2 different rooms but we needed to work together through the wall to help each other solve clues. The clues open a door in between the 2 rooms. Then you work together to solve more clues. We solved the puzzles and escaped the room! This room was unlike the other rooms I've played before. I loved it! 10/10 recommend! Will definitely be back with my friends to try the holding cell. Can't wait!

Another wonderful experience here at ATG Escape Rooms in Concord. I came out here for a business trip and being a former owner of an escape room in Texas I thought I would check a couple out, ATG hit it out of the park with their new Secret Vault room. Great customer service and puzzles.. I will be back again to try the new Holding Cell room which should be open in a week or two.

My kids love escape rooms, so we had to try this new one. The place is unassuming, but the escape room and its puzzles were fantastic. It kept the eight of us guessing and trying options for the full 60 minutes. There were none of those long pauses of frustration; there was always something new to attempt and always a new possibility to try. We can close to finishing, but failed, and had fun doing it.
The staff was also fun. You could tell they enjoyed their jobs and their enthusiasm just added to the fun of the event.
Well definitely be back to try their other rooms!

Before reserving at ATG, I had contacted every venue in the East Bay and was impressed with ATG's efforts and setup to accommodate the birthday party that I envisioned. First and foremost, the owner really tries to listen to you and understand what you are trying to accomplish. On the day of the party, the kids were incredibly entertained - all 16 girls were screaming with delight! What is incredible is that ATG makes the adjustments to accomodate any skill level and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND ATG FOR ANY PARENTS LOOKING FOR AN ESCAPE ROOM VENUE FOR KIDS/TEEN BIRTHDAY PARTY. On top of all of that, the pricing is incredibly reasonable and more competitive than every other place!

Very smart game, and engaging for a group. Better price and availability than other local escape rooms. Only complaint was that we didn't escape because we had one lock left and it wasn't working. Game master couldn't open it either. We'll be back though!

ATG was the venue for our milestone birthday party. Staff was wonderful to work with and our party room was perfect. For the escape room we had a group of 28 and we were divided into two teams then divided again once in the escape rooms. My group had never been in an escape room before and we felt completely lost. Guess we were late bloomers because we only completed 45% of the clues. Now knowing what is expected of us we all agreed we need to go back and face the challenge again. Our youngest was 6 (and she found two clues!) and our birthday twins turned 80. This is a fun activity for all ages. Highly recommend!!

We planned on a little get together for my daughters birthday with a few friends & close family. We wanted something intimate & it turned out perfect.

Everything went smoothly from contacting to arrange the event to clean up. The employees of the escape room were very polite & thorough. All details from bathrooms to karaoke set up was not missed.

Lots of compliments from our family & friends on how much fun they had in the escape room & enjoyed the party room space, which included a kitchen.

We will definitely be returning back to visit the other escape rooms.

One of the most fun things we did last night. A remote escape room. We solved it with 3 minutes to spare, with a little help from Charlie the cat . We picked an 80s themed which was extra fun since our kids were dissed on that music and those movies. I highly recommend it for a fun evening together!

My wife and I have played this game twice with the entire family via zoom and loved it! It feels like we are actually in the room and the live "game master" was helpful but not too helpful as to not ruin the challenge of it all. This company has it together and I would highly recommend it to someone who wants to have a fun night at home, especially in the midst of quarantine times!

Review for the holding cell: Stangely I have done a room with the exact same puzzles, but it wasnt at this place called BreakOut studious. So I wasnt kind of disappointed because the one at breakout studio seemed better. They use a phone to ask for hints, and there were many wires that you could see around the room. Personally, I think the set could have really been improved.

The vault: The puzzles were good. This room has 2 rooms. I felt the puzzles in the second room didnt really have a good variety since like 3 locks in the room had a connection to the books. I kinda of got tired looking at so many books.

It would be ideal if the escape room would put people with no experience with other newbies and experienced people with other experienced people. My girlfriends and I came here for a birthday activity at The Vault. It was such a good first experience with escape room! The Vault experience accounted for 8 people, so we had two stranger join us -- but we all worked well together and took each other's observations. Everyone has their forte to contribute to the escaping experience.

Totally recommend it! The workers are so engaged and enthusiastic with the experience. In the end, you take a group picture to commemorate the time spend together.

If you're a person who likes puzzle or a bit nosey/self-proclaim professional investigator, try it out! Going to recommend this for team bonding with colleagues next!
